Epic paragliding last Sunday at Bulwer

The day started with a South west wind direction and not ideal conditions, but the afternoon more than made up for it, with an Easterly wind, lots of lift and great paragliding  conditions. We have a course from 11 to 17 March the forecast looks like we will have great flying.

Paragliding training

Paragliding courses and tandem flights are fun and amazing.  Part of the important skills learned in paragliding is the ground training.  The better one can handle a paraglider on the ground, the better you will be able to handle her in the air.

Paragliding at Bulwer this week

We've had an absolutely fabulous paragliding time this past week with each day bringing totally different flying conditions. We've been flying at Bulwer, Centocow and Sun City. Some days we've had strong wind and some light, thermic and smooth soaring. Bulwer is a fantastic place for paragliding.

Paragliding fun

We had a beautiful day for paragliding at Bulwer today. Cloudbase was around 500 meters above takeoff with cumulus clouds and great climbs. There were quite a few vultures flying around with everyone. The couple that came for tandem paragliding flights had an absolute blast. fb5

Paragliding at Bulwer

This weekend was not a good paragliding weekend. Instead we went exploring to kettle spout falls on the North side of the mountain. How stunning! The flowers in the veld were absolutely amazing. Bulwer is not just a flying site. It has so much more to offer. From hiking, bird watching, mountain biking, paragliding or just enjoying the fresh air and mother nature it is a holiday maker's perfect getaway.
