Wild sky Paragliding offers a full range of paragliding services. From the introductory tandem flights to advanced courses including sports license and tandem license, we are experts and can guide you through the process of learning to fly, improving your knowledge and skills, and acquiring higher ratings as your flying career progresses. Conveniently, we also offer accommodation right next to the official landing site at Bulwer. Pilots with more experience and skill levels can land on the lawn right at the cabins.
Paragliding courses
Wild Sky offers a great way to start on your paragliding journey. The two day introductory course forms part of the full license course. The course starts with an informative video. You then head to the training slope, where there is an introductory lecture, followed by a demonstration of how to pull the wing up. Then its your turn to learn to pull the wing up, steer and land. We progress up the slope.
Intro tandem flights
Enjoy the experience of free flight under out instruction on a stress free instructional tandem paragliding flight with a TFI pilot. No experience needed. No age limit, all you need is the desire to fly. Weight limit for passengers is between 20 and 100kg.
Paragliding guiding
We offer guiding and also paragliding tours, custom made to your needs. For international visitors we can also include visits to Game parks and coastal flying. We also fly at White Mountain, in the Central Drakensberg at the Little Materhorn (helicopter flights to launch optional extra). White Mountain is a hike and fly site with a resident vulture colony.
Progression courses
Once you have completed your basic license course, it is highly recommended that you further your knowledge and skills by enrolling in a progression course/s with us.
Advanced paragliding
Wild Sky offers post license, cross country, sports license, Safety courses, tandem license and instructors courses.
Equipment sales and service
We are the importers for Da Vinci gliders, a great range of certified wings that range from beginners to advanced levels. We sell harnesses helmets, reserve parachutes and all the paraphernalia you need to fly. Our services include wing inspection and second hand gear sales.
